Log inSilly Sock Day for Autism East Midlands from Jilly Mann
Telford Mann once again took part in Silly Sock Day for the East Midlands branch of the National Autism Society. Due to Covid 19, the charity had officially postponed Silly Sock Day on the 3rd April for 2020, but the team at Telford Mann pressed ahead anyway widening the theme out from socks to masks.
Everyone got involved and the team raised £100 for the charity with the top three entries chosen by Niamh Bailey, Marketing Executive. Perhaps as a sign that people had already been working from home too long, the competition was usurped by a pet dog wearing some impressive footwear. Niamh explained that as soon as the dog entered, the competition was over, but it was great to see everyone get involved and come together as a team. The day produced plenty of camaraderie, hilarity and previously unseen competitiveness.
